Amid 20 acres of lush Sal forest and jungle area at Village Parasi, this budget resort offers 10 luxury cottages and two luxury tents to stay. Guests can enjoy a multi-cuisine fare at Sal Ghar, which also serve Italian Pastas, Pizzas and salads, and Chinese Manchurian-Noodle and Manchurian-Noodle-momo s. Neeraj Pathania and his team guide guests with an excursion trip to the wilderness that starts at the Gori Gate entrance of Bandhavgarh National Park.

The Private Banglow (Jhopri)
The Private Banglows lay out along an alliance that blends with the peaceful open agriculture land surrounded by all forest and Sal trees -birds, jackals, black face Monkey.
The Banglows have been planned with utmost care without spoiling the mood of nature – all banglows with traditional look as “Johpri” the traditional tribal village houses. First time somewhere in the world perfect blend of our experience and tradition used together to develop the banglows and the roof of all the banglows has Four layers the first layer thatch the second layer bamboo raft and wood blocks the third Layer is of Canvas the last layer is fine cotton liner.
By this way when temperature hot outside you feel cooler inside your “Jhopri” (Banglow Room) when temperature cold outside of room then you feel warmer inside. This way we tried to make best use of Mother Nature adopting eco friendly methods.
Banglows has huge space inside and outside gives a privacy and peace, all wooden flooring. Bath with shower, Bath tab and toilets en suit but separated to be used at same time.
The natural scenery has been incorporated with the design, giving it an open feel. Nature has been brought into the interiors. Garden chair placed in front of the banglows for perfect view encountering birds & other wildlife
The Theme and ethics
The basis for color has been khaki as the resort is situated within a jungle and wildlife around. The connecting walkways, the detailing of lighting in harmony with the hundred percent natural plantations all come together. You might encounter or see Jackals are prefer to walk on this paths along with you this is an achievement how comfortable wildlife with our setup.
The Nature and mankind
To give a natural feel, most materials have been procured from the local villages as money goes within community.
The highlight is the Khaki /Red stone color on all the walls even our kitchen staff quarters all similar color that is our code of jungle. All interior walls of the Private Banglows are of waste of marble (paste) no plaster or other comical treaded color used. Villagers were involved to develop the Bagh Sarai as to final shape employment and generated income to the locals.
The Jackal’s House The Bar
The central structure that houses the reception, the restaurant, Separate sitting area and other facilities like the beautifully designed bar known as Jackal’s house is fronted by an elegant disappearance edge pool.
Shikhar Tents
For economy tourists we have introduced elegant Shikhar tents with just basics situated in a private area for living, these tents draws their name (Shikhar) tents meant for Maharaja’s to use and pitched these tents for their jungle excursion in the period of Mughal era of India.

The Mohini
We have a small tribal shop with all hand made and excellent stuff for souvenir must visit to see the selection and what ever you buy that is on no profit no loss basically run by our tribal staff and profit goes to them as family welfare.

By Air
Bagh Sarai is conveniently situated near major airports: Khajuraho (230 km) and Jabalpur (190 km), Kanha tiger reserve 230 km., Khajuraho world heritage site 220 Km.
There are daily flights to Khajuraho from Delhi by Jet Airways, Indian Airlines and Kingfisher and from Khajuraho it is a 5-6 hour road journey.
There are also daily flights to Jabalpur from Delhi, Mumbai, Indore, Gwalior and Bhopal by Kingfisher and Indian Airlines, from Jabalpur it is a 4 hour drive.
By Train
Nearest station is Umaria 22 kmrs from Bagh Sarai Bandhavgarh National Park. Another big train junction connects fom all major cities of India like -Delhi-Mumbai-Chennai-Kolkatta-Jabalpur etc. Bagh Sarai is 65 kmrs from Katni station.
