Laxmi Vilas Palace was built in 1887 for Raja Raghunath Singh, by his elder brother Maharaja Ram Singh who was the then ruler of Bharatpur. In 1994 Laxmi Vilas Palace got transformed into a luxurious heriteg house to cater to the incoming travelers.
